Our Story

Inter Continental Des Services (ICS) was founded in 1999 in Pointe Noire, Republic of Congo, with the vision of becoming the leading provider of innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry. From its inception, ICS recognised the unique challenges encountered by energy sector clients and dedicated itself to providing comprehensive, high- quality services that were specifically designed to address these requirements. At its inception, ICS concentrated on workforce solutions and rig management. However, it soon gained a reputation for excellence, thereby establishing the standard for service delivery in the region.

In 2014, ICS strategically diversified its service offerings by entering the catering sector. This move was driven by a commitment to enhancing the well-being of on-site personnel while improving operational efficiency. Through the acquisition of cutting-edge catering equipment and materials, ICS has significantly enhanced its capacity to deliver exceptional culinary experiences, guaranteeing the provision of high-quality meals in even the most remote locations. In addition to bolstering ICS’s reputation as a comprehensive service provider, this expansion also addressed a critical aspect of workforce welfare.

Recognising the significance of operational excellence, ICS has obtained numerous prestigious certifications, such as ISO, MLC (Maritime Labour Convention), and TRACE certification. These accolades serve to emphasise the organisation’s commitment to upholding the most stringent ethical governance, labour practices, and quality standards. The ISO certification underscores ICS’s dedication to the implementation of effective quality management systems, while the MLC certification ensures adherence to labour standards and the well-being of its employees. ICS’s unwavering dedication to ethical business practices and transparency is further demonstrated by TRACE certification, which bolsters trust with clients and stakeholders.

Over the years, ICS has forged strategic partnerships that have substantially increased its operational capacity. The company’s capacity to effectively manage both onshore and offshore operations was significantly improved in 2022 as a result of its partnerships with drilling rig operators in Central Africa. This year was also significant in that it marked ICS’s entry into the oil and gas production sector through a transformative partnership in Senegal, which positioned the company as a key participant in energy production and further diversified its service offerings.

In anticipation of the increasing local demand, ICS established its inaugural fabrication yard in 2024. This facility is exclusively dedicated to the production of specialised components and high-quality piping materials that are indispensable to the oil and gas sector. This state-of-the-art facility not only fulfils local requirements but also guarantees the precision and dependability of metallurgical services, thereby bolstering ICS’s dedication to innovation and excellence.

Today, ICS operates across multiple continents, with a significant presence in Central Africa, West Africa, South America, Asia, and Europe. Due to its comprehensive portfolio of services, which encompasses compliance and certification, fabrication and manufacturing, and robust support solutions, ICS is a dependable partner for a diverse array of energy projects. With an unwavering commitment to sustainability, safety, and quality, ICS is well-positioned to maintain its leadership position in the continuously changing energy sector.
